DC2SCALE LIL1 – Lille Datacenter

This 4,000 sq m (43,056 sq ft) datacenter, developed by DC2SCALE, offers a hosting capacity of up to 500 racks across shared and private IT rooms. Located in Lille, at the crossroads of Paris, Brussels, London and Amsterdam, LIL1 provides strategic low-latency access to major European connectivity hubs.

Electrical Feeds

The datacenter is supplied by dual 1.5 MVA utility feeds connected to two independent main switchboards. Power continuity is secured by redundant generator systems, with additional provision for temporary mobile generators in case of major incidents.
Flexible UPS architectures allow either Tier III (parallel UPS with bypass) or Tier IV-style fully redundant dual UPS paths depending on customer requirements, using GVXL 1250kW units.

Racks

We provide quarter racks, half racks and full racks designed for high-density deployments, with monitored power delivery enabling precise per-rack consumption tracking and billing. Multiple power configurations (single-phase and three-phase) are available to support a wide range of IT loads.

Cooling System

The facility operates redundant CRAH systems featuring dual cooling circuits for each unit, ensuring continuous cooling availability. The site leverages high-efficiency free-chilling technologies to significantly reduce energy consumption while maintaining optimal thermal performance.

Network Connectivity

LIL1 benefits from carrier-neutral connectivity with diverse fiber entry points, enabling resilient connections to major European network operators and direct interconnection with the DC2SCALE datacenter ecosystem for low-latency private networking.
