Solano Renovables España is developing the Solano Pyhäjärvi data center campus in Pyhäjärvi, Finland. The initial phase will feature a 100MW capacity, situated on 80 hectares of municipally leased land in Uusi-Olkkola.
The campus is designed for scalability, with potential to reach up to 800MW. It will benefit from existing grid connections and secured dark-fiber connectivity with redundant routes, established in collaboration with local fiber operator PyhäNet.
Pyhäjärvi offers a strategic location with industrial infrastructure, abundant renewable energy, and robust connectivity, making it ideal for sustainable, large-scale digital infrastructure. Solano aims to bring projects to a ready-to-build status, attracting major data center investors and operators. This Pyhäjärvi development is the first of three large-scale projects Solano is advancing in the region. Solano, a Spanish renewables firm, is working with the town council and its development arm, Callio, to transform sites into investable developments for large load users.
