XTX Markets Kajaani - Building 2

XTX Markets is investing over €1 billion to develop a state-of-the-art data center campus in Kajaani, Finland. The project includes the construction of five data centers, with the first one scheduled to become operational in 2026. The initial data center will feature 15,000 square meters of floorspace, three data halls totaling 22.5MW of IT power, a mechanical plant area, a warehouse, and a 50-person office space.

XTX Markets is committed to sustainability and plans to provide the heat generated by the data center free of charge to the local community, reducing the facility's environmental footprint. The data center will also use the natural low air temperature for cooling purposes, avoiding the need for water cooling systems.

The project will bring significant benefits to the local community, including job creation and collaboration with local contractors. XTX Markets has engaged Finnish contractors Sundström AB and YIT for the construction works.
