T.Loop Hanko

T.Loop, a data center firm founded in 2021, is expanding into Finland with plans for a new data center in Hanko. The city has reserved land for the development, which T.Loop CEO Helena Fagraeus Lundström described as an important step in their strategy to build resource-efficient AI infrastructure in the Nordics and Europe. The Hanko facility is planned to supply heat to the local district heating network, contributing to the region's energy system and digital capacity. T.Loop's model focuses on Data Energy Centers that aim to reuse excess heat for nearby buildings and connect UPS systems to the grid, offering both air-cooled and immersion-cooled capacity. The company has existing facilities in Sweden and is developing sites in the UK.
