Northern Europe Energy Group AS is developing the Lihula Data Center, a significant hyperscale data center campus located in Lihula, Estonia. Situated approximately 100 km from Tallinn and 60 km from Pärnu, the project is planned on a 136-hectare site. The facility boasts strong power infrastructure, with 100 MVA available today and an expansion capacity of up to 1,100 MVA by 2029, supported by a nearby 330 kV transmission line. The site also benefits from high-capacity fiber infrastructure and proximity to renewable energy sources, including wind and solar generation. This strategic location and robust infrastructure aim to establish Lihula as a key hyperscale data center hub within the Baltic region, offering excellent connectivity to Northern European markets. Grid connection, permitting, and site development are currently in progress.
