ECO-LocaXion Data Center

ECO-LocaXion's data center is a pioneering project located in Esbjerg, Denmark, designed to set new standards for sustainability and innovation in the data center industry. Spanning 8,000 square meters with a capacity of 30 MW, this climate-conscious facility integrates colocation data center operations with heat supply, creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits both the environment and the local community.

The data center's innovative approach involves reusing excess heat generated by the facility in Esbjerg's district heating network, providing warmth to approximately 1,700 households initially, with the potential to expand to over 5,000 households. This circular production approach not only minimizes waste but also supports Esbjerg's vision of becoming a digital powerhouse and energy metropolis.

Scheduled to begin construction in late 2025 or early 2026, the data center is expected to be operational by the end of 2027. It aims to attract mid-to-high-density clients while contributing to the local economy by creating highly skilled tech jobs.
