Edora Jutland

Edora Jutland is a 2-10MW data center located in Hobro, Denmark, developed by Edora A/S in partnership with Eurowind Energy. This facility is integrated within the Eurowind Energy Park, which comprises three wind turbines (3.6MW), solar cells (8MW), and a 10.8MW/43.2MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The BESS serves as a backup, replacing traditional diesel generators. The data center aims to support enterprise AI, Edora Cloud, and managed IT services, while also offering a sustainable option for other data center operators. This project is a pilot and proof of concept for a scalable model of developing data centers alongside clean energy systems, aligning with ESG principles, resilience, and low-cost operation. The initiative seeks to bring energy production and consumption closer, reducing waste and creating new business models where green power is an integral part of digital solutions. It also addresses geopolitical concerns by promoting self-sufficiency within the EU for data center infrastructure.
