The CRA DC Praha Zbraslav data center is set to be one of the largest and most advanced facilities in the EMEA region. With a capacity of up to 2,500 racks and a total power input of 26 MW, it is designed to meet the highest standards of efficiency, security, and sustainability. The center features TIA 942 Rated 3 architecture, with an option for TIA 942 Rated 4 certification for selected halls, ensuring robust reliability.
Key highlights include three independent high-voltage inlets, active-active power supply from two substations, and 100% renewable energy usage. The facility boasts high modularity, allowing for flexible configurations of data rooms and cooling systems to accommodate diverse IT needs, including high-density racks with power requirements ranging from 5 to 30 kW per rack.
Security is a top priority, with a 15-meter external perimeter, divided security sectors, and minimized access to data rooms. The innovative cooling system ensures high efficiency with a maximum PUE of 1.25, while also reducing environmental impact through the use of low-GWP cooling technologies and waste heat recovery.
