Seznam.cz Nagoya

Nagoya is Seznam.cz’s second proprietary data center, located in Benátky nad Jizerou, northeast of Prague. It was launched in 2023 to replace leased space at the Nagano facility operated by O2.

The site spans 1,200 square meters and delivers 3MW of IT capacity across two halls with over 200 racks. Each rack supports up to 15kW, optimized for high-density workloads.

Nagoya features direct free cooling, rainwater-based thermal management, and filtered outdoor air systems—eliminating the need for mechanical chillers. Its design targets a PUE of 1.1.

Built by Altron and designed by Systeming.cz, the facility reflects Seznam.cz’s focus on cost-efficient, environmentally advanced infrastructure. Future expansion may include a second building or photovoltaic power plant on adjacent land.
