Nimbix

Nimbix offers a very unique cloud computing platform purpose built for high performance computing (HPC) and Big Data.

Nimbix Cloud services span all three service models (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS). The predominant service models are SaaS and PaaS whereby cloud users consume software directly from a cloud portal or API both in an Interactive way or using a traditional batch processing model.

Using Nimbix's HPC Cloud Platform Software, JARVICE, cloud users may also build their own custom Application Environments which can be dynamically called via mouse clicks or programmatic API calls thus delivering a true PaaS platform for data and compute intensive workloads.

Finally, advanced users can also use JARVICE to orchestrate clusters and control the infrastructure from end to end including custom application environments. One important technology advantage of the Nimbix cloud is the use of containerization technology in lieu of hypervisor-based virtualization. This provides application access to bare metal systems including the use of hardware coprocessors and accelerators for specific application workflows and processing pipelines.
