The Changzhou Zhonglou Data Center, operated by Sino-Ocean Data, is a cutting-edge facility located in the Zhonglou Economic Development Zone of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. This data center is part of the East China Cloud Computing Base, strategically positioned at the intersection of Guihua Road and Zonglv Road, near the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and adjacent to the Shanghai-Nanjing Highway. The first phase of the project began operations in March 2017 and is designed to meet the new national standard Grade A.
The data center features a ferroconcrete frame structure with story heights of 6.9 meters for the first floor and 5.6 meters for the second to sixth floors. It has a loading capacity of 12KN/m² and includes a freight elevator with a 3.5-ton capacity. The power supply system is robust, with dual paths and a capacity of 40,000 KVA, supported by an N+1 redundant diesel generator configuration and a 2N redundant UPS system.
The air conditioning system uses precision air conditioners to control temperature and humidity, with an N+1 redundant configuration powered by UPS. The facility also employs a water cooling system that can operate for 24 hours without water supply, with a cold storage tank providing 15 minutes of cooling in case of chiller failure.
Security is a top priority, with HD cameras, access control systems, and infrared detection. The data center is equipped with an IG541 automatic gas fire-fighting system and independent fire-fighting zones. Connectivity is ensured through a backbone network link to China Mobile, with scalable multi-line connections and 144-core bare fiber resources.
