Bell AI Fabric Winnipeg is an AI data center project by Bell Canada, located at 400 Goldenrod Dr in Winnipeg, Canada. The facility is being developed within a 94,000 sq ft former protein-processing plant, previously owned by Merit Functional Foods. Bell Canada is investing approximately $23 million to convert the site, which will feature 5.5MW of capacity upon completion. Construction involves modifying the existing structure and installing essential infrastructure such as generators, chillers, and transformers. This data center is part of Bell's broader "AI Fabric" network, which includes other AI data center developments across Canada, such as facilities in Kamloops, British Columbia, and a large campus in Saskatchewan. Bell is also collaborating with Hive Digital Technologies to deploy AI infrastructure in various Canadian locations.
