Beacon Saint John Data Centre

Beacon AI Centers, launched by Nadia Partners in March 2023, is planning a data center in Saint John, Canada, in partnership with VoltaGrid. The proposed facility is slated for the Spruce Lake Industrial Park in Lorneville. VoltaGrid, an energy management firm, intends to build a 190MW natural gas-fired power generator on-site. The project is situated on a 120-hectare parcel within the recently expanded industrial park. While a rezoning proposal was approved, it is not yet clear if formal planning applications have been submitted. Beacon AI Centers has a portfolio of gigawatt-scale projects primarily in Alberta, with a target launch date of 2027. VoltaGrid has recent partnerships with Halliburton and Oracle for power generation solutions.
