QScale Saint-Bruno

QScale plans to develop a high-density data center campus in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, with an estimated investment of $1 billion. This facility will be about half the size of their flagship Lévis campus but will share the same emphasis on clean energy, AI workloads, and circular economy principles.

Strategically located in the Ecoparc near commuter transit and power infrastructure, the site aims to serve clients requiring intensive computing, including applications in autonomous vehicles and machine learning. The data halls are designed for five times the processing density of traditional server cabinets, with thermal waste recovery integrated into the operations.

A key feature of the Saint-Bruno project is its support for adjacent greenhouse agriculture. QScale intends to channel recovered heat to support food production, contributing to Quebec’s food autonomy goals. Additionally, the site may host an AI innovation zone to bridge fundamental research and real-world deployment, reinforcing its role as a regional tech hub.
