The data centre is home to the primary node for the Montréal Internet Exchange (QIX), a key peering point supporting the Internet&#39;s growth. The facility also offers a house riser cables to facilitate new/additional fibre deployments.

The site is backed by newly upgraded uninterruptible power systems, a new data centre plant, and four generators for the utmost in power reliability. The uniquely efficient design facilitates rapid power deployments and the ability to dynamically cool equipment specific to the needs of individual cabinets. 

Certified & Secure 

The data centre technical floor is supported 24/7 by on-site technicians, keycard access, a biometric system for private suites, and closed-circuit TV (CCTV) systems. The Cologix Montréal data centre also supports PCI compliance on an individual basis.

Dynamic Customer Support

All customers have direct and 24/7 access to seasoned local engineers and support teams, in addition to a web-based portal for online technical support ticket submissions. Local Cologix technicians also leverage the Cologix Command data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) platform to continually monitor service to ensure business continuity, alerting customers with options when nearing capacity.
