The Beacon Saunders Lake Artificial Intelligence Hub is a proposed 400MW AI-driven data center located in Leduc County, Alberta. Developed by Beacon Data Centers, this facility is designed to support hyperscale cloud computing and AI applications.

The Saunders Lake AI Hub will feature on-site power generation capacity, ensuring a reliable energy supply for its operations. It is part of Beacon’s broader initiative to develop over 2GW of AI-focused infrastructure across multiple sites.

The project is currently in the proposal stage, with approvals still being sought. If completed, the Saunders Lake AI Hub will play a crucial role in Alberta’s growing digital infrastructure, reinforcing the province’s position as a key player in AI and data center development.
