The National (Shanghai) New Internet Exchange Center, also known as SHIXP, is a cutting-edge internet exchange hub based in Shanghai. Established with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government, SHIXP aims to enhance internet connectivity and data exchange efficiency for enterprises. The center features a dual-core structure with five extension nodes, providing a robust and high-speed network infrastructure.
SHIXP offers a range of services, including connected business, private network services, ecosystem business, and open peering. Enterprises that join the Open Peer-to-Peer Alliance can directly exchange traffic, significantly improving data interaction and access performance. Additionally, SHIXP provides Layer 2 channels for BGP and static route interconnections, allowing enterprises to establish efficient and secure network configurations.
