Rack Centre is West Africa's first AI-ready and hyperscale-ready data centre, and the region's premier interconnection hub. Founded in 2012 and live since October 2013, its Tier III, carrier- and cloud-neutral facility is purpose-built for AI workloads, hyperscale deployments and mission-critical systems. Its track record for excellence has led it to achieve over 12 years of continuous uptime.
At the heart of Rack Centre's offer is the region's densest connectivity ecosystem: over 80 carriers, ISPs and Tier 1 networks with direct access to 8 Atlantic coast subsea cables, including Equiano and 2Africa, plus 2 internet exchanges (IXPN and AF-CIX) on-premises. Its carrier and cloud neutrality lets customers optimize routing for lower latency, greater resilience and better value across West Africa's most advanced digital infrastructure.
Beyond infrastructure, Rack Centre is investing in the region's talent pipeline through the Rack Centre Academy, training the next generation of data centre engineers and building local capacity for Africa's growing digital economy.
