International Mauritania Telecom (IMT) is an Economic Interest Group responsible for managing Mauritania's core digital infrastructure and international connectivity. The organization operates the nation’s Tier III-certified data center in Nouakchott and oversees the landing and management of major submarine cable systems, including Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) and EllaLink. By consolidating the infrastructure of the state and national telecom providers, IMT serves as the strategic backbone for local data hosting and the expansion of the national fiber-optic network to ensure digital sovereignty and resilient high-speed connectivity across the country.
