Autopista de la Información (AUI) is a groundbreaking digital infrastructure initiative by the Government of San Luis, Argentina. It aims to provide free and high-quality internet access to residents across the province, fostering digital inclusion and innovation. With over 2,600 kilometers of fiber optic cables and 1,165 Wi-Fi access points, the AUI ensures connectivity for more than 120 localities and rural areas.
The network supports a wide range of services, including free Wi-Fi, IP telephony, and digital identity solutions like the CIPE 3.0, which enables secure electronic signatures. The AUI also manages a world-class data center that hosts critical government services and supports over 250 virtual servers. With a backbone capacity of 200 Gbps and daily usage by over 150,000 users, the AUI is a cornerstone of San Luis's digital transformation, driving equitable access to technology and empowering communities.
