SKY Brasil - Tamboré

The SKY Brasil - Tamboré data center, situated at Av. Marcos Penteado de Ulhôa Rodrigues, 1000 in Tamboré, Brazil, spans a land area of 19,814 m² with 4,027 m² of built area. It is equipped with an installed electrical capacity of 1,800 kW for IT operations.

This facility was sold by SKY Brasil to Alianza, a real estate investment fund, for R$ 49.3 million. SKY Brasil subsequently leased the data center back for a 15-year term at a monthly rate of R$ 300,000. The lease agreement is indexed to IPCA and includes a 36-month bank guarantee.

SKY Brasil, a provider of pay-TV and 4G broadband internet services, is controlled by the American giant AT&T. The sale and leaseback arrangement allows SKY Brasil to convert capital expenditure into operational expenditure and offers flexibility for future relocation after the lease term.
