The Brazilian Army has established the 3rd CTA São Paulo Data Center, a new modular facility located in São Paulo, Brazil. This modernized infrastructure is dedicated to managing critical information for national defense, encompassing logistical and strategic components.
The previous data center, in operation for over three decades, suffered from limitations compromising data security and availability, lacking adequate protection against power outages and physical threats. The new facility, developed with solutions from Envolve Ambientes Seguros and Planeje Tecnologia, boasts advanced protection features.
Envolve Ambientes Seguros installed a 112 sqm modular safe room designed to withstand direct fire exposure for up to six hours and high-intensity attacks. The structure offers resistance to fire, attempted break-ins, water jets, physical impacts, and includes electromagnetic shielding, ensuring high standards of physical and operational security.
Planeje Tecnologia integrated critical subsystems for continuous operation, including medium and low voltage substations, air conditioning, generators with 12 hours of energy autonomy, UPS systems, and a structured cabling network with over a thousand fiber optic and metallic points.
