IV Tier National Data Center

The IV Tier National Data Center, owned by Bangladesh Data Center Company Ltd (BDCCL) and located in Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City, Kaliakair, is a state-of-the-art facility designed for high availability and robust performance.

Certified by the Uptime Institute (USA) for Tier IV standards, it boasts 99.995% uptime and 2N+1 redundancy, ensuring continuous operation. The 200,000-square-foot data center includes four cage halls, each approximately 2,000 square meters, providing a total of 604 rack spaces. It offers cloud service facilities with a modular setup of 152 racks, co-location services, and managed services delivered by skilled technical personnel.

Connectivity is a key feature, with high-speed internet and data capabilities up to 40 Gbps. The facility is equipped with 2 petabytes of cloud storage, expandable to 200 petabytes, and houses 744 physical servers. Security is maintained through a multi-layered network defense system and continuous monitoring via 466 CCTV cameras. Power infrastructure includes eight 2.5 MW generators, six 2000 KVA transformers, two 2500 KVA transformers, and two 10.5 MVA substations.

Recognized for its construction excellence, the data center received the "Data Center Construction Team of the Year" award in the Asia-Pacific category at the DCD-APAC Award 2019.
