Banglalink Cumilla

The Banglalink Cumilla Data Center, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has implemented a 50kW rooftop solar array. This system, installed on 2,500 sq ft of rooftop space, is designed to generate approximately 85,000kWh of electricity annually. This renewable energy source is projected to decrease the data center's reliance on grid electricity by around six percent. Furthermore, the solar installation is expected to contribute to a reduction in carbon emissions by 52 tons per year. Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd., the operator, has been noted as the first in Bangladesh to deploy on-site solar power at a data center facility.
