The DigiCo Sydney SYD1 Campus, located in Ultimo, Sydney, Australia, is a significant data center campus comprising two adjoining sites. It stands as the sole large-scale data center campus within the densely connected Sydney CBD and is recognized as one of Australia's largest. Its strategic position, less than 1 kilometer from the Sydney CBD center, provides exceptional proximity to telecommunications exchanges, submarine cable points of presence, and key financial and commercial districts. This makes it a highly connected, carrier-neutral colocation data center. The campus occupies two freehold sites totaling 11,035 square meters of land area with 37,835 square meters of Net Lettable Area (NLA). The West building offers 25,180 sqm of technical space across 7 levels, while the East building, constructed between 2014 and 2017, provides 12,655 sqm of NLA over 5 levels. SYD1 boasts an installed IT capacity of 26MW with a planned capacity of 88MW. Its connectivity ecosystem is robust, featuring 110 tier 1 and tier 2 service providers, 3 cloud on-ramps, access to submarine cable systems, and key fiber networks, catering to connectivity and latency-sensitive clients. Recent investments have further enhanced its structured fiber for interconnections.
