CDC Data Centres

CDC Maddington Campus, located in Maddington, Western Australia, is set to become the largest AI and advanced technology data center campus in the region. Upon completion, it will deliver up to 200MW of high-density capacity.

The first stage of development involves an investment of AU$415 million, with the campus expected to be operational in 2026. The facility will support liquid cooling and utilize CDC's closed-loop system, which ensures zero water consumption for primary cooling.

CDC CEO and founder, Greg Boorer, highlighted the strategic importance of Western Australia for national and regional security, including the AUKUS partnership. The vision for the Maddington campus extends beyond a traditional data center, aiming to be a comprehensive technology hub with state-of-the-art facilities for AI workloads at scale, secure office spaces, and various amenities.

CDC, founded in 2007, operates and develops data centers across Australia and New Zealand. The Maddington campus signifies a significant expansion of their capacity, catering to the growing demand for advanced technological infrastructure.
