This significant expansion, located approximately 152 km east of Melbourne, is situated near the former Hazelwood Power Station. The Morwell site is highlighted for its substantial scalability and offers clear pathways to competitively priced green power, non-potable water for cooling, and low-latency fiber connectivity, making it an attractive location for next-generation AI campuses. Keppel is reportedly in active discussions with hyperscalers and neoclouds who have expressed keen interest in the Melbourne region.
