Vocus Communications Limited was formed in 2008 to address the growing requirement in the wholesale telecommunications industry for an independent service provider capable of providing complicated wholesale voice and data solutions. It is known as a challenger brand and has operated in New Zealand and Australia for over 4 years.

Today Vocus is a supplier of International Ethernet, Colocation, Dark Fibre, Voice, IP WAN, Firewall and Backup to Corporates, Enterprise and Government in New Zealand and Australia. Our focus is providing high performance, high availability and highly scalable communications solutions to our customers.

We have partnered with leading technology vendors including Cisco Systems & Brocade to build a high performance network with redundancy and fault mitigation at multiple layers.

In addition to having commissioned multiple Points of Presence (PoPs) in cities throughout New Zealand and Australia, Vocus also has Points of Presence (PoPs) in the US, Sinagpore and Hong Kong.

Vocus has a reputation for strong customer service, network quality and technical proficiency, which has resulted in it winning major local and international clients including Vodafone NZ, Yahoo!7, iiNet, Primus, Lanworx and Emirates Team NZ.

In July 2010 Vocus listed on the ASX and since listing Vocus has gone from strength to strength. Vocus' rapid growth has been recognised by winning the 2010 Deloitte's Fast50 award and CEO James Spenceley winning the Ernst and Young's Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
