EDC's Melbourne data centre is purpose-built on high ground with a building of two stories of reinforced concrete and brick on 15,000 sqm of land set behind 2.2m high security gates.    

The building is built to the highest specification for both capability and redundancy with capacity to double for expansion and growth.

This robust data centre is located on 3.6 acres at Mitcham, close enough to the CBD for easy access via the Eastern and Springvale freeways yet safely located outside the CBD tall buildings, CBD network and traffic congestion in the event of  a disruption or disaster in the CBD known danger zone.
