AirTrunk

AirTrunk MEL2 is a new hyperscale data center campus located in Tullamarine, Melbourne, Australia. This facility will offer a capacity exceeding 354MW, with an investment of over A$5 billion. MEL2 complements AirTrunk's existing presence in Melbourne, bringing the company's total capacity in the city to over 630MW. This expansion provides global AI and cloud customers with enhanced geographical diversity across the Australian market, alongside existing campuses in Sydney and Melbourne. The development is a key part of AirTrunk's strategy to support Australia's ambition to become a global AI hub by providing the necessary AI-ready infrastructure. AirTrunk operates over 1.2GW of capacity across five campuses in Australia, including three in Sydney and two in Melbourne.
