Government of Santa Fe Data Center

The Government of Santa Fe Data Center, located at San Martín 1339 in Santa Fe, Argentina, represents a significant investment in digital governance. Inaugurated on November 11, 2012, the facility was constructed with an investment of 37 million pesos for infrastructure, complemented by nearly 8.5 million dollars for technology acquisition, partly financed by a World Bank loan.

This modern data processing center is a cornerstone of the province's Technological Infrastructure Modernization project, aiming to establish a robust platform for e-government services. The initiative includes the procurement of mainframe infrastructure, hardware, software licenses, and professional services for data and program migration, alongside ongoing support and maintenance.

Furthermore, the project enhanced communication capabilities with a high-availability voice and data system connecting the data center with regional nodes. This includes fiber optic links between Santa Fe and Rosario, as well as between the data center and the Santa Fe Regional Node in Recreo, costing approximately 1.695 million dollars. The center is envisioned as the intelligent core of government administration, ensuring connectivity for even the most remote areas of the province.
