Afghanistan National Data Center

The Afghanistan National Data Center (ANDC), located in Kabul, is a world-class facility designed to house over 50 racks and support a wide range of technologies. Its primary objective is to provide essential and value-added services to government departments and organizations across Afghanistan, from central to district levels.

The data center features a robust infrastructure including a Storage Area Network (SAN), rack-based systems, automated backup and restore, and state-of-the-art security. It is equipped with redundant network infrastructure and power supply, including a 400 KVA transformer, UPS systems, and backup diesel generators, ensuring 99.9% accessibility and availability.

Physical security is maintained through biometric access control and CCTV surveillance, while network security is enhanced by firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, and VPN capabilities. The facility also boasts an advanced environmental monitoring system with industrial-strength air conditioning and a gas-based fire suppression system.

ANDC offers a suite of services such as dedicated servers, application hosting, colocation, managed backup, and email/web services, all supported by 24/7/365 monitoring and monthly SLA reports.
