Keppel KDC FRA 1 is the only data center in Frankfurt that was built specifically for a bank and is now also available for colocation services. Its carefully selected location in a well-connected yet extremely low-risk area, its generously dimensioned and state-of-the-art perimeter and its data center design with 2N layout planned to meet the highest availability requirements also predestine KDC FRA 1 for housing critical IT infrastructure in accordance with German KRITIS regulations.
KDC FRA 1 was built to LEED Platinum standard and TIA 942´s Tier 4 specifications and recently certified to DIN EN 50600 Availability Class 3 as one of only four colocation data centers in Frankfurt. In addition, Keppel DC has ISO 27001, ISO 50001 and ISO 9001 certification as the site operator (information security, risk and quality management).
Dual site requirements are implemented with the support of an international DC partner.
DSGVO-compliant access controls with two-factor authentication support the operation of fully secured or separated IT infrastructures and also enable processes which can be audited throughout and which comply with German, KRITIS, BaFin and international requirements such as SSAE 16 or PCI-DSS.
