After 10 years of sustained growth, Private optical networks are the foundation upon which Vtesse has been able to build a wider portfolio of services that now enable the Company to offer high bandwidth, high availability, highly flexible IPVPN and Ethernet data networking services to a much wider market. Recent regulatory and competitive changes in access markets have supported this move and have greatly increased their affordability.
Recent investment has added a large commercial data centre facility to the Vtesse network, enabling the company to offer services from data centre to desktop, which in turn enhances the value of the company to its customers. The data centre is designed to host customer computing equipment as a cost effective alternative to maintaining it in their own in-house facilities.
