Rockford IT's data facility provides true supplier independent and geographically diverse connectivity routes, with connectivity arriving via both the north and south wings of the building taking different routes into separate cabinets within the communications room. Its backup generator and APC UPS redundant power system gives its clients peace of mind of reduced risk of downtime.

Rockford offers cabinet space by U rather than by cabinet. This means that a company may simply take out 1U if they have little equipment to be stored, rather than taking a cabinet or half cabinet that many competitors set as the minimum a company may purchase. Rockford has specified the cooling and power systems in the hosting facility to allow for the provision of a maximum 32A per cabinet. Many facilities will only accommodate 10A or 15A per cabinet resulting in half filled cabinets.
