Background:
OnRamp's state-of-the-art facilities feature the highest levels of security, redundancy, reliability and technical expertise for Hybrid Hosting, Compliant Hosting, Colocation, Private Cloud and Disaster Recovery customers. As a SSAE 16 SOC II certified, PCI Level 1 and HIPAA compliant company, OnRamp maintains round-the-clock security, monitoring and surveillance from experienced on-site network engineers. OnRamp´s Data Center is built to telecom-class, NEBS-compliancy standards, incorporating over 100 years of engineering and planning for every contingency in such facilities. OnRamp operates isolated, redundant path architectures on our critical subsystems, all of which are built by best-in-class, industry leaders including Liebert, Kohler, Cummins and Cisco. But more than just a Data Center company with best-of-class equipment, advanced security and 24/7/365 on-site monitoring, OnRamp specializes in providing Full7Layer Support from experienced network engineers 24/7/365.

OnRamp was founded in 1994 in Austin, Texas. As one of Texas´s first Internet operations companies, our history is rooted in providing reliable and secure connectivity that enables distributed computing. Today, OnRamp provides computing infrastructure for companies that require high levels of security and availability.

Details:
OnRamp´s Austin I Data Center utilizes an isolated, redundant path power architecture, meaning our customers benefit from true A+B all the way from the power company to their racks. Our critical systems are built by industry leaders, including Liebert, Kohler, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Trane. This redundancy extends to the OnRamp network, which is built on best-in-class, enterprise Cisco equipment. OnRamp utilizes the Cisco model of networking, incorporating a core, an aggregation, and an edge layer, deployed in a full mesh for the utmost redundancy. At the core layer, OnRamp uses BGP4 routing technologies to automatically route traffic most optimally. At the edge layer, OnRamp uses GLBP or HRBP routing technologies to provide fault tolerance from our networking equipment to the rack. OnRamp has multiple connections with different Tier-1 Internet backbones, delivered on independent fiber entrance facilities. 24/7/365 monitoring from our Network Operations Center provides immediate hands-on support during a customer emergency from engineers with expertise all the way through the application layer.

Full7Layer Support:
Most Data Center companies like to talk about support, but actually provide very little in the way of real, hands-on help. OnRamp is different. Our engineers are available 24/7/265 to provide support where you will most likely need it most: inside your rack. Far beyond simple tape swaps or server reboots, our engineers are experienced in networking, hardware, operating systems, virtualization software and many complex applications, eliminating seams that exist when companies provide only parts of the solution. In fact, many customers view OnRamp as an extension of their IT department, and choose to supplement their technical expertise, enhance their service(s), or seek on-demand support in emergencies with the help of OnRamp's Full7Layer Support. Experienced engineers are standing by 24/7/265, ready to help with anything and everything from racking and stacking your equipment, to monitoring or repairing it.
