Located 85 feet below the surface and surrounded by solid limestone, SpringNet Underground provides the perfect place to house your computer operations. Here it is safe from natural and even most man-made disasters, as well as secure from wrongful entry. The facility was established in October of 2003 and offers 25,000 square feet of raised floor space.

The facilities power comes from a dedicated underground substation feed. It is backed up with redundant UPS units fed from separate battery banks. Additionally, a 2 MW generator stands by ready to provide back-up power in the unlikely event of interruption. All mechanicals required to operate the facility are located below the surface as well.

The facility is carrier neutral and has a presence from AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and Quest. SpringNet also provides Internet bandwidth options across three diverse Gigabit interconnections today. All cabling witihn the facility is provided for a small cross connect fee.
