Broadcast Data Centre
We understand the importance of maintaining your equipment. That is why we have built our new secure Broadcast Data Centre (BDC) that allows you to host your own equipment within our purpose-built facility.
Within our Phase 1 development we can currently accommodate 30 racks within a secure room that is climate controlled and backed by UPS and generator. The fire suppression system is a non-toxic gas that will not only extinguish any fire but will also preserve your valuable equipment.
Broadcasters can take advantage of our fantastic fibre connectivity into worldwide points of presence and broadcast teleports. Within the BDC, companies can receive from almost any satellite worldwide. Customers can also make use of WRN Broadcast monitoring or content management facilities including data storage services and LTO 5 data archive.
Benefits include: 
•	24/7, 365 day onsite staff with CCTV recording system
•	Generator and UPS backed electricity supply to ensure continuous running in the event of mains grid failure. Onsite fuel to maintain 24 hours running and 12 hour refuelling contract, allowing us to continually operate the facility indefinitely without mains electricity.
•	Under floor air conditioning maintaining 20°C +/-2°C of the total heat load of the data centre.
•	Redundant cooling system
•	Cold aisle system employed for efficient cooling
•	Full under floor water leak detection system 
•	Full VESDA and air sampling system provides for early detection of smoke and heat so that any potential fire is detected before it can develop further. 
•	FM-200 fire suppression system. All under floor cabling is low smoke. 
•	Centrally linked fire detection and alarm system
•	Redcare Chubb managed intruder alarm system
•	Three-stage identification process for access
•	Individual lockable racks
•	In and out recorder, Mag-lock controlled door security throughout
•	Footprint Size: 600mm wide x 1000mm deep. ¼ and ½ also available
•	Access to over 3000 POPs worldwide

•	Physically diverse fibre routes entering the building at multiple points and run on diverse paths to a diverse comms area.
•	Full broadcast Teleport available to receive any satellite signal worldwide
