The London Technology Centre (LTC) is one of Europe’s largest purpose built data centres for Information Availability costing around £48 Million to fit out in its current form. The 190,000 sq ft facility could accommodate 22,000 new shape Minis, but is put to more valuable use with 133,000 sq ft being reserved providing managed services. The remainder of the facility houses the Network Operations Centre (NOC) which is central to the successful running of all our managed services data centres, and the 170 strong team of experts who based at the facility to provide round-the-clock support to SunGard customers.

Every aspect of the building has been designed with safety, resilience, security and customer’s future requirements in mind.

The facility delivers production environments to business across the globe and, due to our unrivalled network capability provides load balanced solutions between all of our managed services data centres. This means we have the ability to provide truly resilient solutions.

Location/Travel:
Situated to the West of London the facility is easily accessible by both road and rail.

10 minutes from the M3 Jct. 1
40 minutes by train from Central London.

Resilience
Access to all major communications providers many of which have Points of Presence (POPS) within the building Integrated with our other UK data centres along with our international centres Diverse power feeds to every cabinet in the resilient data centre Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) throughout the data centre Backup diesel generators with enough fuel to power the data centre for 72 hrs Onsite Water Supply for Sprinkler System meaning no reliance on the mains water supply Cat 6 structured cabling solution throughout the centre CCTV Monitoring and 24 hour manned security presence.
