Background:
Cantono's newest data centre is located in Fareham, South Hampshire, about 75 miles from our Central London headquarters, and became operational in September 2008.
It offers more than 80,000 square feet of usable space and employs IBM's modular technology.
It is easily accessible both by Motorway and by rail. On-site parking is also available.

Details:
The modular architecture of the data centre allows individual performance optimised data centres (pods) to be created to the tier level appropriate to the client.
Over 15 megawatts of power is available providing up to 25kw of power per rack.
Individual modules have raised floor and are pre-cabled, with an Integrated Rack System (IRS) greatly facilitating the installation process.
Cooling is achieved via Cold Aisle Containment, whereby incoming cool air is separated from outgoing warm air, resulting in energy savings of c. 30 per cent.
