The NAP of Amsterdam is designed to meet the highest requirements for power, availability and security, with redundant power feeds, flywheel UPS systems and six 2.25-megawatt diesel generators for backup power. The facility has been designed with the environment in mind, with a target PUE of less than 1.3. Multi-tier security includes 24/7 security guards, CCTV and keycard access with biometric controls. We provide 100% service-level agreements on power and environmental systems. The NAP also will be home to Terremark’s industry-leading Enterprise Cloud™ platform, providing high-performance computing infrastructure on demand.
Security
The facility is also designed with advanced physical and logical security infrastructure. Personnel man the command center 24 hours a day, and every entrance and exit point is under guard. We monitor all security cameras, and control access to elevators, floors and roof areas via keycards and biometrics. Advanced environmental sensors notify tenants and mobilize rescue in case of an emergency.
Room to Grow
The campus provides ample space for expansion, with an initial footprint of 2,700 square metres of raised floor complemented by the ability to expand the campus to a further 10,000 square metres.
