The Candos Recovery Centre is designed to give you complete peace of mind. The facility is situated on the second floor of the MT Exchange building, sitting right on top of the core MT network. The centre operates on a 24/7 basis and offers the following facilities to clients:
. Secure and modern Data Centre
Our Client Hosted, Syndicated and Dedicated servers are monitored twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, with manned security and CCTV.
In this safe and secure environment, temperature and humidity are maintained at optimum levels through technologically advanced environmental monitoring systems. This is backed up by automatic fire protection mechanisms with the data centre fitted with first class smoke detection systems monitored by Mauritius Telecoms NOC. All the non-ozone depleting fire extinguishers undergo strict verification controls every 6 months under the policy put in place for routine maintenance by CMU.
The data centre is protected by a diesel generator and UPS battery backup and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). During a power failure, UPS systems ensure immediate protection and the diesel generator takes over, providing power for up to 6 days without refuelling.
Cooling is an integral part of the site with our data centre fitted with non-ozone depleting redundant Precision Cooling Units.

Network facilities are available through copper as well as fibre lines depending on clients' needs.
. Work area recovery
The Work Area Recovery (WAR) provides syndicated and dedicated working space for back office, call centre or other business personnel. The WAR has 100 positions each fully equipped with workstations, standard office furniture and telephone handsets. Print, copy, scan and fax facilities are also available. During an invocation, the latest production image of the client's applications is deployed on the contracted workstations through rapid desktop deployment technology within an agreed SLA.

A modern fully equipped command centre is at the disposal of our clients at the Recovery Centre in Candos, which can be used by Executives as dedicated area for meetings, conferences, etc.
