St.Peterburg Internet Exchange (MSK-IX) is an Internet Exchange operated by MSK-IX (neutral, non-profit organization) and provides public and private peering and interconnection in St.Petersburg, heart of Northwestern Region of Russia. Over 90 ISPs and Internet-related companies joined SPB-IX to enhance their routing efficiency and to save on transit costs. SPB-IX distributed switching infrastructure includes 5 nodes located at major telecom interconnection facilities / data-centers of St. Petersburg.
