The first commercial Internet Exchange service provider was founded in 1998 in Hong Kong. IXTech Limited (IXTech) is a wholly-owned by CNLink Networks Limited (CNLink).

Regional Telecoms Relation
China experiences and relationship network are the two major entry barriers for any businesses in China. With over seven years of regional operation history, CNLink has accumulated a great wealth of experiences and built an extensive relationship network spanning from the North to the South, and crossing the Taiwan straits.

Regional Telecom Relations is the key business success element of CNLink. This element enabled building up of the Regional IP platform as well as facilitating the delivery of services such as VPN, Internet Access, and the specialized content delivery service across international boundaries in the region.

Regional IP Platform
The Regional IP Platform offers the network services for the customers in the servicing region. It excels in its being managed as one single network across geographic regions, both technically and for provisioning of unified services to customers. CNLink is capable of providing directly network service in Hong Kong, Taipei, Tianjin, Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and Shenzhen. All of these territories are supported by the regional CNLink branch offices leveraging on local Regional Telecom Relations. For those uncovered areas in Greater China, long distance remote support is always available. Outside of Greater China, CNLink has business coverage in Japan and United States. With Hong Kong POP as the hub of the network, overseas corporate customers can connect to our Tokyo, Taipei, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong POPs and then create VPN or MPLS tunnels to their respective offices in China. 

Technical Skills
CNLink's Regional IP Platform has been built and evolved with support of top-notched Technical Skills. Through this self-designed and self-developed IP network, CNLink has mastered the complete set of MPLS, IDC, and IP VPN technologies. Its core technical team has remained intact since Year 2000 and is poised to take on further challenges to develop new and enhanced IP services in line with the company’s diversification strategies.
